As per the latest notification, the CTET 2026 exam is scheduled to be conducted on 8 February 2026 (Sunday) across various examination centres in India. The Central Board of Secondary Education will conduct Paper- I and Paper-II. The test will be conducted in twenty languages in 132 cities all over the country. CTET Eligibility Criteria
For Primary Level (Class I to V):

Candidates must have passed Senior Secondary (10+2) with at least 50% marks and hold a 2-year D.El.Ed or B.El.Ed qualification.
For Upper Primary Level (Class VI to VIII):

Bachelor’s Degree (BA/B.Sc/B.Com) with 50% marks and B.Ed qualification from a recognized university.
