• Eligibility Criteria:

   

  Educational Qualification

  • Constable (UB): HS / Class 12 passed

  • Constable (AB): HSLC / Class 10 passed

  • Candidates with HS or above can apply for both branches (with preference sequence).

  Essential Requirements

  • Must be an Indian Citizen and a Permanent Resident of Assam

  • Compulsory Employment Exchange registration

  • Must speak Assamese or any other state language

  • Proof of residence needed during final selection (except SC/ST/OBC-MOBC)

  Experience (for reserved categories)

  • Home Guards/VDP/Civil Defence: Minimum 1-year service

  • SPOs: Appointment certificate required

  • FMMOs: Certificate from Special Branch, Assam Police
