• Eligibility Criteria:

  1. Educational Qualification

  • Must have passed Matriculation (10th Standard) from a recognized Board.

  • Only Matric/10th pass certificate will be accepted as proof of age and qualification.

  2. Sports Qualification

  Candidates must have participated in recognized sports competitions, with preference in the following order (sports quota):

  1. Represented India in International competition

  2. Represented State/UT in National Championships (Top 3 position)

  3. Represented University in Inter-University competition (Top 3 position)

  4. Participation at State/University level

  5. Represented State Schools in National School Games (Top 3)

  6. National Physical Efficiency Award (NPEA) holders

  3. Age Limit (as on 01/01/2026)

  • General / OBC: 18 – 28 Years

  • SC / ST: 18 – 33 Years

  Age Relaxation

  • • SC / ST: 5 Years

    • OBC: 3 Years

    • Ex-Servicemen: As per Government rules

  4. Nationality

  • Candidate must be a citizen of India.

  5. Physical & Medical Standards

  • Candidates must be medically and physically fit as per Assam Rifles standards for Rifleman posts.

• Pay Scale:

  (As per 7th Pay Commission)

  • Pay Level: Level-3

  • Basic Pay: ₹21,700 per month

  • Gross Salary: ₹30,000 – ₹35,000 per month (approx.)
