Candidates selected as Multi-Tasking Staff (MTS) will perform essential support duties such as office cleaning and maintenance, file movement, assisting court officials, delivery of official documents, and other tasks assigned by the court administration. Computer Assistants will be responsible for data entry, maintaining digital records, operating court software, scanning and digitization of documents, assisting in e-filing procedures, and providing technical support to court staff. Candidates appointed to other posts will handle clerical and administrative work, maintain records, manage correspondence, assist judicial officers and perform duties as directed by the High Court authorities.

Eligibility Criteria:
- For MTS Post:
  - Candidates must have passed Class 8.
  - Generally, candidates should not be higher than Class 12.
- For Computer Assistant Post:
  - Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized university.
  - A Diploma or Certificate in Computer Applications is mandatory.
Application Fees:
The application fee is ₹500 for General and OBC/MOBC candidates, while SC and ST candidates need to pay ₹250. PwBD candidates are fully exempted from paying any application fee.

The fee must be paid online only through approved digital payment modes.
Pay Scale:
- Selected candidates will receive salary as per the Gauhati High Court Pay Matrix.
- MTS Post:
  - Pay Scale: ₹14,000 – ₹60,500
  - Pay Band: Pay Band–1
- Computer Assistant Post:
  - Pay Scale: ₹17,000 – ₹77,000
  - Pay Band: Pay Band–2
- Other Posts:
  - Salary will be provided as per applicable Gauhati High Court norms.
- Additional Allowances:
  - Eligible for Dearness Allowance (DA)
  - House Rent Allowance (HRA)
  - Other allowances as per government rules
