  • Candidates must meet the required eligibility criteria before applying for the Fire Safety Officer posts:

    • Educational Qualification:
      Candidates should possess a B.E/B.Tech degree in Fire Technology, Fire & Safety Engineering, or equivalent from a recognized university or institution.

    • Experience:
      Relevant experience in fire safety management in organizations such as banks, government departments, PSUs, or reputed private firms will be preferred.

    • Age Limit:
      The age limit will be as per the recruitment rules of Indian Bank (usually between 25 to 40 years). Age relaxation is applicable as per government norms.

    • For SC/ST/PwBD candidates: Rs. 175/- (inclusive of GST)
    • For Other Candidates: Rs 1000/- (inclusive of GST)
    • For Specialist Officers in Indian Bank: Scale II pays ₹64,820₹67,160 basic and total emoluments ≈ ₹93,960/month.
    • In Indian Bank Officers’ Service Regulations, Scale I starts at ₹36,000 basic
