LDC: Handles routine clerical work such as file and record maintenance, typing, correspondence, and assisting in day-to-day office operations.

PGT (Biology, Mathematics, Computer Science): Teaches senior secondary classes, plans lessons, evaluates students, maintains academic records, and supports co-curricular and residential school activities.

TGT (Social Science, General Science): Teaches middle and secondary classes, prepares lessons, conducts exams, assesses students, and assists in academic and co-curricular duties.

Librarian: Manages the school library, maintains records, issues books, supports students and staff, and promotes reading habits.

UDC: Oversees clerical work, manages official documents and correspondence, and supports administrative functions.

Driver: Operates school vehicles safely, maintains logbooks, ensures timely transport, and follows safety regulations.

Ward Boy: Assists in hostel duties, supports students’ daily needs, maintains cleanliness and discipline, and helps hostel staff.

  • 1. Lower Division Clerk (LDC) (UR–01)  

    • Passed Matriculation or an equivalent examination from a recognized board/university

    Skill Requirements:

    • English typing speed of 40 words per minute using MS Word or an online typing test

    • Working knowledge of shorthand

    • Ability to draft and handle correspondence in both Hindi and English

    Experience:

    • No prior experience required

    2. PGT (Biology) – Contractual Post (UR–01) 

    • Integrated Post-Graduate programme in Biology from an NCTE-recognized university with minimum 50% marks,OR
    • Master’s degree in Biology (or relevant specialization) with at least 50% marks, provided Biology was studied at graduation level

    Professional Qualification:

    • B.Ed from an NCTE-recognized institution with minimum 50% marks,OR

    • 3-year integrated B.Ed–M.Ed, OR

    • 4-year integrated degree including B.Ed component (minimum 50%)

    Other Requirements:

    • Capability to teach in Hindi and English

    Desirable:

    • Higher academic qualifications

    • CTET/STET qualification

    • Teaching experience in residential/public schools

    • Knowledge of computer applications

    • Participation in games and co-curricular activities

    • Experience as PGT in recognized institutions

    3. PGT (Mathematics) – Contractual Post  (UR–01) 

    • Integrated Post-Graduate degree in Mathematics with 50% or above,OR

    • Master’s degree in Mathematics with minimum 50% marks, with Maths studied at graduation level

    Professional Qualification:

    • B.Ed / Integrated B.Ed–M.Ed / 4-year integrated degree including B.Ed (minimum 50%)

    Other Requirements:

    • Proficiency in teaching through Hindi and English

    Desirable:

    • CTET/STET

    • Experience in residential schools

    • Computer knowledge

    • Experience as PGT

    • Interest in sports and co-curricular activities

    4. PGT (Computer Science) – Contractual Post (UR–01)

    • M.Sc. (Computer Science / IT) or MCA with minimum 50% marks,OR

    • M.E./M.Tech in Computer Science / IT with at least 50% marks

    Professional Qualification:

    • B.Ed / Integrated B.Ed–M.Ed / 4-year integrated degree with B.Ed component (minimum 50%)

    Other Requirements:

    • Ability to teach in Hindi and English

    Desirable:

    • CTET/STET qualification

    • Experience in residential/public schools

    • Knowledge of networking, hardware, and computer applications

    • Previous experience as PGT

    5. Librarian – Contractual Post (UR–01)

    • Bachelor’s degree in Library Science or Library & Information Science with minimum 50% marks

    • Knowledge of computer usage

    • Ability to work and communicate in Hindi and English

    • Post-graduate qualification

    • Experience in residential/public schools

    6. TGT (Social Science) – Contractual Post (OBC–01)

    • 4-year integrated degree with B.Ed component in relevant subject with 50% marks,OR

    • Bachelor’s/Honours degree in concerned subject with minimum 50% marks

    Professional Qualification:

    • B.Ed or 3-year integrated B.Ed–M.Ed with 50% marks

    Mandatory Requirement:

    • Qualified CTET (Paper-II)

    Other Requirements:

    • Teaching proficiency in Hindi and English

    Desirable:

    • Post-graduate qualification

    • Experience in residential schools

    • Knowledge of computers

    • Experience as TGT

    7. TGT (General Science) – Contractual Post (UR–01)

    • 4-year integrated degree including B.Ed with minimum 50% marks,OR

    • Bachelor’s/Honours degree in relevant science subject with 50% marks

    Professional Qualification:

    • B.Ed or Integrated B.Ed–M.Ed (minimum 50%)

    Mandatory Requirement:

    • CTET (Paper-II) qualification

    Other Requirements:

    • Ability to teach in Hindi and English

    Desirable:

    • Higher academic qualification

    • Teaching experience in residential schools

    8. Upper Division Clerk (UDC) – Contractual Post (OBC–01)

    • Graduation from a recognized university

    Experience:

    • Minimum 2 years of office experience in Government or Commercial organizations

    Skill Requirements:

    • English typing speed of 40 WPM

    • Ability to correspond in Hindi and English

    Desirable:

    • Knowledge of shorthand

    9. Driver – Contractual Post (SC–01, ST–01)

    • Passed SSLC / equivalent examination

    Licence & Experience:

    • Valid licence for light and heavy motor vehicles

    • At least 3 years driving experience of LMV, automatic vehicles, vans, mini-buses, and heavy passenger buses (proof required)

    Medical & Other Conditions:

    • Medically fit with valid fitness certificate (Form 1-A as per CMV Rules, 1989)

    • Good eyesight and hearing

    • Indian citizen with good character

    • No involvement in serious legal cases or major accidents

    • Willing to perform multi-task duties in school

    10. Ward Boy – Contractual Post (UR–02, OBC–01)

    • Passed Matriculation from a recognized board

    Other Requirements:

    • Must be able to speak English fluently

    Desirable:

    • Graduate degree (BA/BSc/BCom)

    • Skills in sports, art, or music

    • Computer knowledge

    • Experience in handling children with care and responsibility

    • Preference for mature candidates suitable for hostel/warden duties

    Age Relaxation

    • For SC/ST: Maximum age limit prescribed to post shall be increased by 5 years
    • For OBC: Maximum age limit shall be increased by 3 years

    Note: Reservation policy for SCs/STs/OBCs will be followed as per Sainik Schools Society Rules and Regulations.

    • General / OBC / EWS Candidates: ₹500/-

    • SC / ST / PwBD Candidates: ₹250/-

    Pay Level: Level–02 (7th CPC) ₹19,900 – ₹63,200 per month
