• Eligibility Criteria:

  1. Soldier (General Duty)

  • Class 10th / Matric Pass

  • 45% aggregate marks and 33% in each subject

  • For grading systems: Minimum D Grade (33–40%) individually & C2 overall (45% equivalent)

  2. Soldier (Clerk)

  • 10+2 / Intermediate Pass (Arts, Commerce, or Science)

  • 60% aggregate and 50% in each subject

  • Mandatory:

    • 50% in English

    • 50% in Maths / Accounts / Book Keeping in Class 12th

  3. Soldier Tradesmen (Except Housekeeper & Mess Keeper)

  • Class 10th Pass

  • No aggregate percentage required

  • Must have minimum 33% in each subject

  4. Soldier Tradesmen (Housekeeper & Mess Keeper)

  • Class 8th Pass

  • Minimum 33% in each subject

  Physical Standards

  For Male Candidates

  • Height: Minimum 160 cm

    • Relaxation to 157 cm for candidates from:
      Sikkim, Manipur, Tripura, Nagaland, Arunachal Pradesh, Mizoram, Meghalaya, Assam, Darjeeling & Kalimpong, Indian Domicile Gorkhas, Garhwalis & Ladakhis

  • Chest: 77 cm (unexpanded), 82 cm (expanded)

  • Weight: As per height & age (Army medical standards)

  For Female Candidates

  • Height: Minimum 157 cm

    • Relaxation to 152 cm for candidates from Eastern Himalayan Region & Indian Domicile Gorkhas

  • Chest: Minimum 5 cm expansion

  • Weight: As per height & age (Army medical standards)

  Age Limit

  The selection for Territorial Army Soldier posts involves multiple stages:

  Territorial Army Soldier How to Apply (Offline Process)

  The recruitment for the mentioned units will be conducted from 15 Nov 2025 to 14 Dec 2025.

  Steps to Apply

  1. Obtain the official application form (from Battalion HQ or official source).

  2. Fill in all required details accurately.

  3. Attach photocopies of required documents (two attested copies).

  4. Submit the form at the designated Territorial Army Unit/Recruitment Office.

  5. Attend the rally on the scheduled date with all original documents.

  • Issued by Registrar of Births & Deaths, or

  • Class 10th Board Certificate showing DOB

  2. Education Certificates

  • Mark sheets & certificates for 8th/10th/12th/diploma etc.

  • Provisional certificates must be ink-signed by the head of the institution.

  • Open school candidates must carry School Leaving Certificate countersigned by BEO/DEO.

  • Only certificates from recognized boards will be accepted.

  3. Domicile Certificate

  • Issued by Tehsildar or District Magistrate

  • Must include candidate’s photo

  4. Caste / Tribe / Community Certificate

  • Issued by Tehsildar / SDM / DM with photo

  5. Religion Certificate

  • Required only if not mentioned in caste certificate

  • Issued by Tehsildar or SDM

  6. Character Certificate

  • Must be within 6 months

  • Issued by:

    • Village Sarpanch

    • Municipal Corporation

    • Station House Officer (SHO)

    • Head of Educational Institution

  7. Married/Unmarried Certificate

  • Issued within last 6 months by Sarpanch or Municipal Corporation
