Eligibility Criteria
You must hold a Postgraduate degree (Master’s) or equivalent from a recognized university.
- For JRF (Junior Research Fellowship), the upper age limit is 30 years (relaxation applies for reserved categories)
- For Assistant Professor, no upper age limit is imposed
UGC NET December 2025 Registration Details
- Registration Start Date: October 7, 2025
- Registration End Date: November 7, 2025 (11:50 PM)
- Application Correction Window: November 10–12, 2025
- Application Mode: Online only via ugcnet.nta.ac.in
- Application Fee:
General/OBC: ₹1150
SC/ST/PwD/Transgender: ₹600
