About Us
Since 1962, the Government Industrial Training Institute has operated as the Industry School, a division of the Department of Industry and Housing. Later, the industry school was moved to a new department and turned into an ITI after the addition of the new Himachal Pradesh Technical Education and Vocational Training department. The ITI initially only offered two trades: 1) Cutting and Sewing and 2) Embroidery. And in 1986, with a combined seating capacity of 42 trainees, both trades became linked with NCVT.
