IIT Roorkee has invited applications for 1 Junior Research Fellow (JRF) / Senior Research Fellow (SRF) position under a research project at the Centre of Excellence in Disaster Mitigation and Management (CoEDMM). The project is sponsored by the National Remote Sensing Centre (NRSC), ISRO and focuses on the comprehensive analysis of glacial lake dynamics in Ladakh and the risks associated with changing climatic conditions using geospatial techniques.

The selected candidate will work on research activities related to remote sensing, geospatial techniques, geoinformatics, geology, geophysics and other related areas. The position is temporary and will continue for the duration of the project, subject to the applicable rules and satisfactory performance. Eligible candidates with relevant postgraduate or professional qualifications can apply.

Eligibility Criteria:
Candidates applying for the IIT Roorkee JRF/SRF Recruitment 2026 should have a relevant postgraduate or professional qualification. The notification lists the following eligible backgrounds:
- M.Sc., M.Sc. Tech., M.Tech. or M.E. in relevant fields.
