DGM: Candidates generally need a full-time Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, while some posts require a Master's degree in Structural Engineering or Geophysics.
Manager: A Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering is required. A Master's degree in Structural Engineering is additionally required for specified posts.
Assistant Manager: A Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering is required, with a Master's degree in Structural Engineering for the specified bridge-design post.
DGM Experience: Minimum 11 years of post-qualification experience, including relevant experience in the concerned field.
Manager Experience: Minimum 5 years of post-qualification experience, including relevant experience.
Assistant Manager Experience: Minimum 2 years of post-qualification experience, including relevant experience.
Marks: UR/EWS candidates generally require First Class or at least 60% marks, while the applicable reserved-category requirement is 50%.
Age Limit: DGM – 41 years, Manager – 35 years, Assistant Manager – 32 years, calculated as on 8 October 2026.
Age relaxation is available for eligible categories according to RITES rules.
General/OBC candidates: ₹600 + applicable GST
EWS/SC/ST/PwBD candidates: ₹300 + applicable GST
The fee is to be paid online during the application process.

DGM: ₹70,000 – ₹2,00,000 per month
Manager: ₹50,000 – ₹1,60,000 per month
Assistant Manager: ₹40,000 – ₹1,40,000 per month
Pay will be fixed according to the applicable RITES pay scale and recruitment rules.
