KARTET 2025 Exam Details

The Karnataka TET exam is conducted in two categories:

• Paper 1: For eligibility to teach Classes 1 to 5 (Primary Level)

• Paper 2: For eligibility to teach Classes 6 to 8 (Upper Primary Level)

Both papers were conducted in an objective format, consisting of multiple-choice questions (MCQs) for a total of 150 marks.

• One question was deleted from Paper 1, Part 1 of the Language 1 section

• Multiple correct answers have been allowed for certain questions

• General Category: 60% (90 out of 150 marks)

• SC / ST / OBC / PwD Categories: 55% (82 out of 150 marks)
