Odisha OTET 2025: The Board of Secondary Education, Odisha has started the registration process for Odisha Teacher Eligibility Test (OTET) 2025 today, November 12, 2025. Candidates interested to become an eligible teacher can apply for the test on the official website of the board - bseodisha.nic.in. The examination/test will be held on December 17, 2025 in two shifts - from 9 am to 11:30 am (Paper 1) and 2 pm to 4: 30 pm (Paper 2).

The OTET exam consists of Paper 1 and Paper 2, and applicants can choose one or both papers depending on their eligibility.

Odisha OTET 2025 Registration: The last date to fill the application form and pay the fees is November 26, 2025 (11:45 pm). The admit card will be released on December 10, 2025.

Odisha OTET Registration 2025: How To Apply For OTET 2025?

1. Visit the official BSE Odisha website - bseodisha.nic.in 

2. Click on the OTET 2025 Registration link.

3. Register using your email ID and mobile number.

4. Log in and fill out the application form with personal, educational, and contact details.

5. Upload required documents, including photo and signature.

6. Pay the application fee via online mode.

7. Submit the form and take a printout for future reference.

Eligibility Criteria

Paper 1 (Classes I to V)

• Passed 12th with at least 50% marks and a 2-year D.El.Ed OR

• 12th with 45% marks and 2-year D.El.Ed (NCTE recognized) OR

• 12th with 50% and 4-year B.El.Ed OR

• Graduation with a 2-year D.El.Ed

Paper 2 (Classes VI to VIII)

• Graduation with 50% marks and B.Ed OR

• Graduation with 45% marks and 1-year B.Ed (NCTE recognized) OR

• 12th with 50% marks and 4-year B.A/B.Sc Ed or B.A.Ed/B.Sc.Ed

Paper 1

• Child Development & Pedagogy

• Language I (Odia)

• Language II (English)

• Mathematics

• Environmental Studies
  Each section carries 30 marks, totaling 150 marks with no negative marking.

Paper 2

• Child Development & Pedagogy

• Language I (Odia)

• Language II (English)

• Optional: Mathematics & Science OR Social Studies
  Total marks: 150, with equal weightage across sections.
