Eligibility Criteria for UPPSC Lecturer & Professor Posts 2017

Total Number of Posts: 799 posts

Educational Qualification & Age Limit:

Candidates should possess MBBS, M.S, M.D with a Good academic record in concerned Subjects from any recognized university/ Institution. Refer official notification for complete details

For Lecturers: Good academic record defined by the concerned University with minimum 55% marks, (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed) at the Master's degree level in a related subject from an Indian University, or

An equivalent degree from a qualified Foreign University. II- Must Have cleared NET by C.S.I.R., U.G.C., in the related subject or SLET of Uttar Pradesh in the relevant subject or SET in the relevant subject accredited by U.G.C.

For Professor: M.D. in relevant Subjects / M.S. in relevant Subjects / M.B.B.S. with M.Sc. in related Subjects or an equivalent qualification recognized by Medical Council of India.

Age limit: To apply for UPPSC 799 Lecturer & Professor recruitment the age of the candidate should between 21 to 40 yrs and 65 yrs respectively.

Relaxation in upper age will be given as per the government rules & regulations

Pay Scale:

For Lecturer – 15600 – 39100/- Per Month

For Professor – 37400 – 67000/- Per Month
