English Subject in this CDS syllabus is to acknowledge the ability of the candidates in English skills & mainly for the grammatical. The paper consists only basics of the subject to test the right use of English words, verbs, tenses etc. Parameters given below contain roughly the paper cover these subjects given below in your preparations. Fill in the blanks, Jumbled Sentence, Reading Comprehension, Sentence Correction, omissions & Finding errors and etc.
No. System, Operations, Fundamental Unitary, Methods, and Elementary No., method, Theorems, time and distance, application to simple and compound interest etc.
Basic operations, Remainder Theorem, Quadratic Equations, Linear equations, Theory of Polynomials, Relationship between coefficients and roots (only real roots to be considered), set language, set notation etc.
Tabulation of data, histograms, pie and bar charts, graphical representation, frequency polygons etc.
Values of Sine x, cosine x, and tangent x, simple Trigonometric identities, simple cases of height and distances
Lines and angles, plane and plane figures, parallel lines, sides and triangles of a triangle, Congruency of triangles, Concurrence of medians and altitudes, circles and its properties including tangents and Normal’s, Loc etc
Calculating areas of squares, rectangles, triangles, circles and parallelograms, surface area and volume of sphere, lateral Surface Area, volume of cones etc
