IFS Preliminary Exam Pattern

There are two types of mandatory papers.

First will be of objective type & second will be of the evocative type.

Each paper consists 200 marks and the duration of the exam will be 2 hours.

For every wrong answer, there will be negative marking, 0.33 marks will be deducted. and no penalty is a blank question

Indian Forest Officer Main Exam Pattern 2018:

It is a crucial stage to qualify for IFS 2018 Examination. There will be six papers that conducted by UPSC

General English (Paper I ) - 300 Marks

General Knowledge (Paper II) - 300 Marks

Each paper III, IV, V & VI will be subdivided into two sections that are A &B.
- Paper III for Optional Subject 1 (Paper 1) - 200 marks
- Paper IV for Optional Subject 1 (Paper 2) - 200 marks
- Paper V for Optional Subject 2 (Paper 1) - 200 marks
- Paper VI for Optional Subject 2 (Paper 2) - 200 marks
