Directorate General of Quality Assurance (DGQA), Department of Defence Production, Ministry of Defence has released an official recruitment notification (Advt. No. CQA(S)/2026/Tech(SS) & Tech(SK)) for 14 Group 'C' Non-Ministerial Industrial posts of Technician (Skilled) and Technician (Semi Skilled).
Selection will be conducted through a 100-mark Written Test (Objective MCQs) followed by a 100-mark qualifying Trade Test. Eligible candidates must download the application format, fill in details in English, attach self-attested photocopies of 10th mark sheet, ITI certificate, experience proof, caste certificate, 3 passport-size photos, and a self-addressed envelope with ₹55/- postal stamp. Send the complete packet via Speed Post or Registered Post to the Controllerate of Quality Assurance (Systems), DGQA Technical Complex, Manovikas Nagar P.O., Secunderabad - 500009 on or before 28th August 2026 (05-09-2026 for remote areas).

Technician (Skilled): Passed 10th Class (Matriculation) from a recognized board + ITI Certificate in relevant trade / Defence Services Tradesman Course + Minimum 1 year of experience in the specified trade.
Technician (Semi Skilled): ITI Pass Certificate in any trade or equivalent Defence Services Tradesman Course approved by Central/State Government.
Age Relaxation: Upper age limit relaxation applies to SC/ST (5 years), OBC (3 years), and Ex-Servicemen/Government Employees as per Central Government rules.
General / OBC / EWS / SC / ST / PWD / ESM: ₹0 (No Application Fee)
Postal Stamp Requirement: Candidates must enclose a self-addressed envelope (30×12 cm) affixed with a postal stamp of ₹55/- for receiving the admit card.
Technician (Skilled): Pay Matrix Level-2 (₹19,900 – ₹63,200/- per month + applicable 7th CPC allowances)
Technician (Semi Skilled): Pay Matrix Level-1 (₹18,000 – ₹56,900/- per month + applicable 7th CPC allowances)
