The MAHA Metro Recruitment 2026 has been announced by Maharashtra Metro Rail Corporation Limited (MAHA Metro) for 56 posts in the Nagpur and Pune Metro Rail Projects. The recruitment includes posts such as Junior Engineer, Senior Office Assistant, Office Assistant, Technician, Multi Tasking Staff (MTS) cum Motor Driver and Attendant. This opportunity is mainly for candidates who have the required educational qualification and relevant work experience in Metro Rail, Railway, Government organizations, PSUs or related infrastructure sectors.

The selected candidates will work on a contract basis for three years. Their responsibilities will depend on the post they are selected for. Junior Engineers will handle technical and engineering-related work, while Technicians will support maintenance and technical operations. Office staff will manage administrative and documentation work, whereas MTS, Motor Driver and Attendant staff will perform operational and support duties.

Candidates must meet the required qualification, age limit and experience criteria for their selected post. The recruitment process includes a written test and interview/oral aptitude test, wherever applicable, followed by a medical examination. Eligibility Criteria:
- Nationality: Candidates should be Indian citizens.
- Candidates must generally be currently working in Metro Rail, Railway, Railway PSUs, Government Organizations, PSUs or Metro-related infrastructure industries.
- Junior Engineer: Relevant B.E./B.Tech or Engineering Diploma qualification is required, depending on the discipline.
- Senior Office Assistant: Relevant graduation/B.Lib or prescribed qualification is required, depending on the post.
- Office Assistant: Prescribed graduation/educational qualification as mentioned for the post.
- Technician: Relevant ITI/technical qualification is required for the respective trade.
- MTS cum Motor Driver: Minimum prescribed school qualification along with the required driving licence and experience.
- Attendant: Minimum prescribed educational qualification and relevant experience.
- Maximum Age: 40 years for Junior Engineer and Technician posts.
- Maximum Age: 45 years for Senior Office Assistant, Office Assistant, MTS cum Motor Driver and Attendant posts.
- Candidates must also satisfy the post-wise experience and current pay-scale/CTC conditions mentioned in the notification.
Application Fees:
- SC/ST/PwBD/Women Candidates: ₹100
- UR/OBC Candidates: ₹400
- Ex-Servicemen: ₹400
- The fee is non-refundable.
- Payment can be made through Demand Draft or UPI/BHIM, as prescribed in the notification.
- Candidates applying for more than one post need to submit a separate application and applicable fee for each post.
Pay Scale:
The salary varies according to the post:
- Junior Engineer: ₹33,000 – ₹1,00,000 per month
- Senior Office Assistant: ₹33,000 – ₹1,00,000 per month
- Office Assistant: ₹25,000 – ₹80,000 per month
- Technician: ₹20,000 – ₹60,000 per month
- MTS cum Motor Driver: ₹16,000 – ₹50,000 per month
- Attendant: ₹14,000 – ₹40,000 per month
