Under CSIR AMPRI Recruitment 2026 - Walkin for Project Associate, Junior Research Fellow and More Posts, selected candidates will work on different research projects related to advanced materials, geopolymeric concrete, graphene composites, polymers, quantum materials and biosensors. These are project-based positions and are temporary in nature. The engagement will continue only for the duration of the concerned project and is subject to the availability of project funds.

There are 5 Project Associate-I posts, 1 JRF post and 1 Project Research Scientist-I post, making a total of 7 vacancies. The work may include laboratory research, field visits, sample testing, computer-based analysis, scientific reporting and development of new materials or technologies. Candidates must first complete the online application and then appear for document verification and the walk-in interview on the scheduled date.

Eligibility Criteria:
Candidates applying under CSIR AMPRI Recruitment 2026 - Walkin for Project Associate, Junior Research Fellow and More Posts should check the post-wise qualification carefully:
- Project Associate-I, Post Codes 01 and 02: B.E./B.Tech in Civil or Mechanical Engineering from a recognized university.
- Project Associate-I, Post Code 03: B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical, Materials, Metallurgical, Production or Chemical Engineering.
- Project Associate-I, Post Code 04: M.Sc. in Chemistry/Physics or B.Tech in relevant Chemical/Polymer/Rubber Technology fields.
- JRF, Post Code 05: M.Sc. in Chemistry or Physics along with NET/GATE qualification in Physical or Chemical Sciences.
- Project Research Scientist-I, Post Code 06: Postgraduate degree in Chemistry, Nanotechnology, Biotechnology or Material Sciences, or a four-year engineering degree with relevant specialization.
- Candidates must have already obtained the required qualification. Final-semester candidates and candidates whose results are awaited are not eligible.
- The maximum age limit is 35 years.
- Age relaxation of 5 years is applicable to SC/ST/PwBD/Women candidates and 3 years to OBC candidates, as per the notification.
- Applicants must be Indian citizens.
Application Fees:
- No application fee is mentioned in the official Advertisement No. PROJ-06/2026.
- Candidates are required to complete the application through the online portal.
- A scanned photograph and signature in JPG/JPEG format, below 100 KB, must be uploaded.
- After successful submission, candidates should save or print the generated application form and application number.
- Candidates applying for more than one post code must submit a separate application for each post.
Pay Scale:
The salary offered under CSIR AMPRI Recruitment 2026 - Walkin for Project Associate, Junior Research Fellow and More Posts is attractive for research-based project jobs:
- Project Associate-I: ₹31,000 + HRA per month for candidates with qualifying NET/GATE or specified national-level qualifications.
- Project Associate-I: ₹25,000 + HRA per month for candidates who do not meet the above qualification condition.
- Junior Research Fellow: ₹37,000 + HRA per month during the 1st and 2nd years.
- Junior Research Fellow: ₹42,000 + HRA per month during the 3rd year.
- Project Research Scientist-I: ₹56,000 + HRA per month.
- Project staff may also receive applicable benefits such as leave, TA/DA on official tours and medical facilities according to CSIR rules.
