Eligibility Criteria:
Candidates should fulfill all the eligibility conditions given below:
- Nationality: The candidate must be an Indian citizen.
- Recruitment Type: This recruitment is only for eligible serving Home Guards of the Bihar Home Guard Vahini.
- Educational Qualification: Candidates must have passed a Bachelor's degree/graduation from a recognized university or an equivalent qualification recognized by the State Government.
- Required Service: The candidate must have completed at least 5 years of service in the Bihar Home Guard organization.
- Remaining Service: Candidates must have at least 10 years of remaining service as prescribed in the notification.
- Age Limit: The minimum age is 24 years and the maximum age is 50 years.
- Age Cut-off Date: Age and other eligibility conditions are calculated as on 01 August 2026.
- Physical Standards: Candidates must meet the prescribed physical standards for the post.
- Men's Height: General/BC candidates require at least 165 cm, while EBC/SC/ST candidates require at least 160 cm.
- Women's Height: Minimum 155 cm.
- Selection: Preliminary Examination, Main Examination and Physical Efficiency Test
