UKSSSC PA and Steno Recruitment 2026 is for candidates who want to work in different departments and offices of the Uttarakhand Government. The recruitment includes Personal Assistant, Stenographer and other related posts. Candidates must generally have passed Intermediate (12th) from a recognised board or have the required degree for specific posts.
For most Personal Assistant posts, candidates need Hindi shorthand speed of 80 words per minute.
Hindi typing speed of 4000 key depressions per hour on a computer is required for most Personal Assistant posts.
Some posts have additional requirements for English shorthand, English typing, MS Office knowledge or relevant experience.
Stenographer Grade-3 requires a relevant graduate degree, along with prescribed shorthand, typing and computer qualifications.
Stenographer Grade-2 requires Intermediate qualification, English and Hindi shorthand/typing skills and relevant work experience.
Age limit is generally 18 to 42 years, while certain posts have a minimum age of 21 years.
Age is calculated as on 1 July 2026.
Applicable age relaxation will be available to eligible reserved categories as per government rules.
