The Department of Administrative Reforms and Public Grievances is the Government of India's primary agency for administrative reforms and the resolution of public grievances pertaining to states in general and Central Government agencies in particular.

Vinit Kumar, an Indian Railway Service Electrical Engineer from the 1993 batch, has been appointed CEO of the Khadi & Village Industries Commission (KVlC) in Mumbai. KVlC operates under the Ministry of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises.

The Indian President officially opens the North Eastern Regional Campus of the Indian Institute of Mass Communication (IIMC) in Aizawl. On the occasion, the President visited the Convocation of Mizoram University (MZU) and virtually inaugurated several education-related projects, including a permanent campus of the Indian Institute of Mass Communication (IIMC) in Aizawl.

Under the Citizenship Act of 1955, the Indian government has chosen to award Indian citizenship to Hindus, Sikhs, Buddhists, Jains, Parsis, and Christians from Afghanistan, Bangladesh, and Pakistan who are now residing in two districts of Gujarat. The decision to award citizenship is made under the Citizenship Act of 1955, not the contentious Citizenship Amendment Act of 2019.

India’s first technology business incubation centre based on green technology named ‘Greenovator Incubation Foundation’ is to be set up at National Institute of Technology (NIT) Srinagar. Technology Business Incubation or Inclusive TBI (i-TBI) is a three-year initiative supported by the Department of Science and Technology (DST) for educational institutions, innovators and entrepreneurs. DST provides all necessary funds for setting up the centre.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched the Gandhinagar-Mumbai Vande Bharat Express train, the third in the Vande Bharat series, between Mumbai and Ahmedabad. The two additional Vande Bharat Express trains, which began service in February and October of this year, operate from New Delhi to Varanasi and Katra, respectively. The 'Vande Bharat 2.0' Gandhinagar-Mumbai Express train travels 540 kilometers in 6 hours and 30 minutes.

The Cabinet Appointments Committee named Rajiv Bahl, a renowned World Health Organization researcher, as Director General of the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR). Bahl is the World Health Organization's (WHO) director of research for maternal and newborn health, adolescent health, and aging. He will also serve as Secretary of Health Research (DHR). He spent ten years as a Senior Scientist at the AIIMS before joining WHO.

The Army has enabled satellite broadband-based internet service atop the Siachen Glacier in partnership with Bharat Broadband Network Limited (BBNL). At a height of 19,061 feet, the glacier is located in the Himalayas' eastern Karakoram range. The BBNL is a totally owned government-owned supplier of broadband infrastructure. It is operating under the Bharat Net scheme to deliver internet connectivity to rural and distant locations using satellites.

Union Minister Piyush Goyal issued a handbook titled 'Safety in Electrical Installations - A Way Forward to Safety by National Electrical Code of India' as well as a guide for using the National Building Code of India 2016. It was unveiled at the Bureau of Indian Standards' (BIS) fourth Governing Council Meeting. Pamphlets are also distributed to raise public awareness about building their own home or purchasing from a builder.
