East Central Railway Recruitment 2017 for Sportsperson

Location: Vaishali, Hajipur, Bihar

Number of Posts: 21 (Twenty-one)

Age required for applying: applicant should not be less than18 and more than 25 years

Educational Qualification:

• For the post of pay level 2/3 with Basic Pay of 7 19900/21700: Intermediate/ equivalent or higher education from well recognized board.


• For the post of pay level 4 with Basic Pay of 7 25500: Intermediate in Science (Mathematics & Physics) or higher education, if recruited in technician grade.


• For the post of Pay Level 5 with Basic Pay of 7 29200 - Graduation or equivalent

Eastern Railway Recruitment (Sports Quota) in Category 1 and Category 2

Category 1:

Location: Vaishali, Hajipur, Bihar

Number of Posts: 05 (Five)

Age required for applying: 18-25 years

Educational Qualification:

Degree from the well recognized university or equivalent qualification

Grade Pay:

Pay scale PB-1, (Rs.5200- Rs. 20,000/-) + Grade pay Rs. 2400/- or 2800/- (corresponding to Level 4/ Level 5 pay matrix as per 7^th pay commission)

Category 2:

Location: Vaishali, Hajipur, Bihar

Number of Posts: 16 (Sixteen)

Age required for applying: 18-25 years

Educational Qualification:

Degree from the well-recognized university or equivalent qualification

Grade Pay:

PB-I (Rs. 5200 – 20200) + Grade pay Rs. 1900/- or 2000/- (Corresponding to Level 2 OR Level 3 of Pay Matrix as per 7th Pay Commission)

How to apply:

Application for both the category 1 and Category 2 for the Eastern Railway Sports Quota to be sent in a closed envelope superscribed as “APPLICATION FOR SPORTS QUOTA RECRUITMENT FOR THE YEAR 2017-18’ indicating the category by post or to be dropped in a drop box at the address mentioned in Item-A above

 

Examination Fee:

• For General candidates: Rs. 500/- (not refundable at any circumstances)


• For SC/ST or women/ minorities/backward classes candidates: Rs. 250/-


• The examination fee is in payable in IPO (Indian Postal Order at GPO, Kolkata) should be vowed in the favor of ‘FA&CAO, East Central Railway.

 

Selection Procedure:

• Selection of applicants for the Eastern Railway Sports Quota will be based on their performance in the basis of merit in trials.


• Submit all the copies of certificates with the application should be properly attested by a Gazetted Officer.


• Reservation in sports Quota is not applicable for SC/SC or OBC.
